May 2009

The club met on May 13th at the VFW in Shawano.  The Pledge of Allegiance was followed by the reading

of the April minutes, and the treasurer’s report for April, showing a total balance in our funds at

2009 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES -   PLEASE – MAIL IN YOUR DUES FOR THIS YEAR NOW.

  (ABOUT 2/3 OF OUR MEMBERS HAVE DONE SO).   OR THRU THE MONTH OF MAY.  We want

 all current members to continue their membership and remain supporters of the club’s efforts.  Those not

doing so by the date of the June meeting, will be dropped from membership.                  *** Mail in your

Thank you to all who worked on May 9^th at our Spring Fling.  The day was very cold, but we did quite well

 on registrations for pullers and radar runs, as well as food and beverage sales.  All bills were not yet

 received at the time of the May meeting – so a final, complete report will be given in June.

Dave Schultz has been nominated to serve as Secretary.  Motion was made and carried that Dave be

 elected as Secretary. 

THE GRESHAM BADLANDS RUN dates are August 15^th and 16^th.  Dates for workers to

 mark and groom the trails will be done on two Saturdays: July 25^th and Aug. 1^st.    Lunch or a meal will be

 provided for workers on those Saturdays.  We will sell raffle tickets prior to the Badlands Run, with the

 Grand Prize to be a 2009 Suzuki 400 King Quad.  You can pick up your Raffle tickets at a regular

meeting or call Wendy or Marilyn, and they will get some tickets to you to sell.  Our goal is to sell 900

 tickets total – and we need the help of club members to get this goal accomplished.

Our Club ride/weekend will be held at Lake Hilbert on June 19^th and 20^th.  Members are invited to come

 up and join in on the ride on Saturday only, or the entire weekend.

We have a new variety of clothing for sale.  Along with long and short sleeved t-shirts, caps, floppies and

 hoodies; we have new embroidered jackets for sale.  Cost on the new jackets is $50.00 each.  Show the
