APRIL 2009
The club met on April 8th at the VFW in Shawano. The Pledge of Allegiance was followed by the reading
of the March minutes, and the treasurer’s report for March, showing a total balance in our funds at
$3,955.65.
Terry Coplien, WATVA Regional Director, was present at the meeting. Discussion was held on topics of
interest at the annual meeting: LUV’s on trails, OWI laws, rim regulations. Dates of importance – June
6th National Trails Day; and Aug. 1st the NE Regional meeting at Moe Lake.
SPRING FLING will be held on Saturday, May 9th. If you know of a business that would
sponsor a trophy series for this event at a cost of $50, please have them contact Wendy. Please mark this
date on your calendar and plan to help out that day. Thursday evening, May 7th at 5:30 p.m. is scheduled
for set-up of the grounds. A sign-up sheet was passed around for working at this event. If you are able
to help with set up and/or the day of the event – please call Wendy – or show up that Saturday. We can
use more help – we will be selling our own brats, burgers, and beverages. The ATV pulls will start at
12:00 noon and the Radar runs start at 3:00 p.m. Come on out and support your club. The Grand Prize
ATV will be there. Raffle tickets will also be available for distribution. We are asking that each member
sell some tickets prior to our August Event.

FLING OR THRU THE MONTH OF MAY. WE NEED THE SUPPORT OF ALL OF OUR CURRENT
